- Stay Organized: Taking the time to properly organize and package your items will be well worth it when it comes time to unload them. Be sure to label!
- Stack Your Boxes: Stack your boxes in an organized, easily-accessible way. That way, if there’s something you need, you’ll be able to easily get to it!
- Packaging Breakables: When it comes to packaging breakables, packing paper and bubble wrap are your best friends! After all your items are packed, make sure you securely tape your boxes to ensure the contents within are extra secure. Label items as fragile!
- Storing Appliances: Defrost your refrigerator to avoid any water damage or mildew growth. Make sure you leave your refrigerator doors slightly ajar to allow air circulation. Drain your washing machine thoroughly as well. We advise our customers to clean the inside of their appliances prior to storage. Placing a box of baking soda inside your refrigerator will help absorb any moisture. When storing appliances, moisture is the last thing you want!
